This image shows in the centre, Chapel Lane Staith, now part of the Museum Quarter, with sections of the Globe grain warehouse complex to the right, and the premises of W. Grey, linseed mill to the left, later to be J. A. Scott Ltd. Castle Warehouse, which appears to be demolished, perhaps for the construction of the latter. Further left, set back from the frontage is the rear of the Corn Exchange at number 35 High Street.
